London is one of the most beautiful places in the world and is well known for its scenic beauty. It attracts many tourists who visit London for many purposes. It has been developed in almost every field. It has got good economical, educational and political background. Art and culture is not an exceptional case here. The people of London follow different cultures and they speak more than 300 different languages. Their practices are diversified in many ways. London can be called as a centre for international cultural events which includes festivals, music, art and many other events as well.

This is the 2nd biggest carnival in the world which takes place in the month of August when the banks are not working. This takes place in the weekends and pulls the attraction of nearly 1 million people.
The Latin American festival named Carnavel Del Pueblo is also hosted by London. This is also a very important event which falls on the first Sunday of the August month. People from many countries in the world participate in this festival. Another very interesting and amusing event that falls in the month of October is the dance Umbrella where many dance groups display their skills and talents. The other important events are the St George’s day which falls on April 23rd and the St Patrick’s Day which falls on 17th of March.
Art is also given much importance. The National Gallery houses a collection of famous western architectures. The National Portrait Gallery and the Wallace Collection are other art galleries which showcases various artistic designs. There are also many art exhibitions and cultural centres which encourages the artists to display their work and prove their talents in the field.
There are also many museums prevailing in London which secures the ancient fossils and also provide information about them. People who are interested in knowing such historical facts find these museums very interesting and also can get the information they want to know.
There are also many spiritual and religious places in London. The people follow different religions and spiritual practices. Christianity is the primary religion. People following Islamic, Buddhist and Jewish traditions are also present in London.
London has also set an example for other places in the world especially Mumbai. The infrastructural and transport facilities in Mumbai are designed taking London as a model. So London is very much rich in Art and alive with cultural activities too.
